What services are included in your Riverbend Experience? The Riverbend package typically includes:
- Custom design service, whether you’re starting from scratch or modifying an
existing Riverbend home plan. Our comprehensive design service includes working drawings to guide financing, building
authority approvals and construction.
- Your precision-cut frame, pre-fit and finished in our shop, delivered to
your site ready to secure with hardwood pegs. Shop fitting is part of our quality control process – it ensures your frame’s
joinery is accurate, so adjustments don’t have to be made at the building site.
- Insulspan structural insulating panels for the roof and exterior walls. The
panels are pre-cut in our shop to the size and shape of the structure, complete with rough openings for windows and doors,
and wire chases already in place. Pre-cut panels mean your frame is enclosed quickly and with minimal construction waste at
the building site.
- An on-site advisor for the erection of the frame and the panel installation.
Our experienced advisors have worked on hundreds of timber frames, and are highly qualified to guide you or your contractor
through a safe, efficient installation.
- Hand-holding. Our goal is to make your dream home adventure as pleasant as
possible. Your Riverbend representative will be available throughout the process to keep you informed, calm your nerves and
celebrate your construction milestones.
Options to the basic package include:
- Installation of the frame and panel system by Riverbend’s crew. Our installation
service covers all associated costs and equipment, including crane and/or forklift.
- Decorative treatments to the timber, such as carvings, inscriptions, chamfers
and extra timber framing elements to excite the eye.
- The Advantage Insulating Concrete Forming System™ (ICF) foundation, a patented
insulated concrete forming system that makes your home’s shell as energy tight as possible. Advantage ICFs are highly
recommended for clients who want to minimize energy costs.
- Choice of wood source and species, including recycled timber and salvaged timber
certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
